We are currently looking for a cybersecurity manager to join us.
Objectives
The Cybersecurity Manager is responsible for leading and developing Remion’s information security practices across internal IT systems, customer-facing services, and software development processes. Working closely with service owners and product development leads, the role ensures that cybersecurity is embedded into all core systems and services. This includes supporting secure software development, automating security-related workflows, and integrating cybersecurity into the full product development lifecycle. The role also includes managing organizational, physical, and technological access controls, raising cybersecurity awareness, and delivering regular security reporting to leadership.
This position plays a key role in supporting the organization’s compliance with regulations or standards such as NIS2, ISO 27001, EU Cyber Resilience Act, EU AI Act, and EU Data Act. The Cybersecurity Manager will coordinate with software development, DevOps, and IT teams to embed security controls into daily operations, and will support the organization in audits, certification processes, and stakeholder communication. Hands-on experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure), modern backend development tools, and infrastructure-as-code is essential, as the systems under development process data from thousands of IoT devices.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop cybersecurity practices in customer-facing systems in close collaboration with service owners.
- Ensure security controls are embedded into internal IT systems and services.
- Drive secure software development processes and automation in collaboration with DevOps and QA teams.
- Promote integration of cybersecurity into product development lifecycles and tools, supporting secure-by-design principles.
- Support organization in meeting authority requirements such as NIS2, ISO27001/2, EU Cyber Resilience Act, EU AI Act, EU Data Act and similar regulations or standards.
- Prepare and deliver regular reports on cybersecurity status and initiatives.
- Participate in organizational, people, physical, and technological access control development
- Raising cybersecurity awareness and providing training

Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity or a related field.
- Experience in leading and executing certification processes, such as NIS2, ISO 27001, IEC 62443, including risk assessments, control implementation, documentation, internal audits, and coordination with external auditors.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent are preferred.
- Strong expertise in secure software development processes, with hands-on experience in technologies such as Microsoft 365, Java, Python, TypeScript, Git, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, SQL databases (PostgreSQL, Timescale), and infrastructure-as-code tools (CDK, CloudFormation, Bicep, Ansible) in both AWS (IoT Core, Lambda, API Gateway) and Azure (IoT Hub, Azure Functions, AKS) environments.
